Church planting is hard, hard work. But, church planting is the future of the American church...for various and established reasons...
1. Less than 18% of Americans attend church. This translates to the fact that there are 156 million unchurched individuals in the United States.
2. 47% of America’s unchurched report that they would be open to going to church if they were invited by a friend.
3. A new church plant gains 60-80% of its eventual membership from unchurched individuals making first-time commitments to Christ.
4. Churches that employ church planting strategies grow three times faster than those that do not have planting vested within their strategic plan.
Each of these numbers point to a proven fact, if the culture is ever going to find its way to a Biblical worldview, it will happen through the tireless efforts of church planters.
