Janet Ruth: A Former Federal Prosecutor asks, "Does 'Under God' Belong in the Pledge of Allegiance?"
Show Notes

Meet Janet Ruth, a former federal prosecutor from the state of Arizona.  In her fascinating book, "Separate for a Reason", Janet kicks the hornet's nest and brings her legal expertise to bear on the separation of church and state, asking the question of the Christian community, "Are we doing this right?"  Today's episode (with a bit of an awkward transition between the two parts...sorry!) is the first of two episodes in which we converse about the juxtaposition between the two citizenships of American Christians:  our allegiance to the King of kings and our allegiance to our country.  In today's polarizing political climate, is it becoming too easy to get our Kingdom priorities wrong?  Has pursuit of political agendas supplanted loving our neighbor?
